FELIPE CHACON and NICOLASA TRUJILLO and the book of Rafael Chacon.The book was reprinted⁄republished within the year by Yucca Press from Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is the memoirs of Rafael Chacon who served in the military since he was 7 as a cadet and was promoted to the rank of Major during the Civil war.

Jose Albino Chacon was the Son of Felipe Chacon and Nicolasa Trujillo. Felipe Chacon, natural son of Rosa Chacon, married Nicolasa Trujillo in Santa Cruz dela Canada 23 Feb 1800, she, Nicolasa Trujillo was the daughter of Miguel Antonio Trujillo and Ana Maria Montes Vigil. Miguel Trujillo and Ana Maria Montes Vigil married in Santa Fe 1-30-1766. Ana Maria Montes Vigil Daughter of Francisco Montes Vigil and Lorenza Molina Quintana. Francisco Montes Vigil's roots have been followed to Siero,Spain. By:Maria C.Martinez in one of her three books on the Montes Vigil. The information on the Chacons and Trujillos come from the books "The Quintanas" By Ida Foraci ,Volumes 5,6,9,10,21 and 22. And from the book by Thomas D.Martinez "Santa Fe Baptisms 1747-1851".
